try looking at the manual for the monitor for a start...
if you have not got one, the press the buttons on the front of the monitor, one of them is for the menu one is for the left/up move one is for the right/down move.one is for accept
it is a bit difficult to explain just what to do so your going to have to play with the setting to find out

hope you manage to sort it out

There should be a some type of control buttons on the monitor itself. Either on the front face, or under the front. If you don't see any, run your fingers along the bottom of the monitor.
Once you've found the buttons, from there you'll enter the display options and you'll be able to adjust the picture across the screen.

If you have an older monitor (5 years or more), instead of buttons, they might be dials, try rolling them in either direction.

You need to access the ODS(on-screen display)probably by pressing a button somewhere on the monitor that is labeled "ODS", "menu", or something similar. There should be a horizontal adjust button that you can select, and then use the controls to move the image back to the right until the image is centered.

Go into the menu of your moniter (usually one of the buttons on your monitor) and find "Auto Adjust" or something similar, and it will automatically adjust the screen position, size and the sharpness of the image as well.

Use the buttons on the monitor to recenter the screen or there might be a control in your video card software that will allow you to do the same thing.

Those buttons on the monitor below the screen should bring up a menu that will allow you to adjust your screen.
