Congratulations on your coming out?
There are alot of legit places to meet guys. I would check the internet for a local pride organization or if you are in school, check to see if there is a GLBT club there or at a nearby college.
Meeting a guy and flirting with one is the same as flirting with a girl. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. You don't have to have sex on the first date or even the 20th date. If you are not comfortable with the person, then don't do it.
Having your first gay experience is like having your first straight experience. It will happen when the time is right and you are. Don't hurry anything. Life is too short to do something without it being special.

Generally I would seek out older gay men, at least 35 to 50 years old. Probably join some kind of group activity (not sexual lol). There should be some organizations in the DC area and they can probably help with activities. The older guys will be happy to guide you through this difficult time and introduce you to other guys closer to your age. Eventually you'll find guys your own age, but the gay guys in their 20s tend to be very cliquish, which is why you're having a tough time finding friends. The older guys will like a younger guy around, even if it's not going to lead to anything.

I would guess going to gay events or gay clubs or bars would be good for starters. At least get you out there and learn some of other venues or options. I would make sure they know you're new to this type of experience so they go easy with ya. Good Luck, Have fun and Be safe.

Find someone that you can trust. Tell them that this is your first time so they do not expect anything in particular. They may be able to teach you things that could work to your benefit. Many places to meet gay people, but not many of them (bars,chatrooms, etc) are good to find the trust factor.
Do not rush into it, take your time and it will be even better.
Flirting is natural, that will come in time.

you can go to sites on the Internet,for instance gay.com and find a community near you and find where people meet, there are gay bars and other places where people meet, so check it out and talking to gays is normal, just like talking to anyone, if you want sex then it will come sooner or later. just start slow and enjoy yourself.
