There isn't a real age, but 18 is always a good age. Sadly, on the average, 16 is usually the average age. Things usually only hurt the first time and that's just your hymen breaking/stretching. After that, it's supposed to feel pretty amazing.

Once women get their period, they can have sex. Their body is telling them that they have reached sexual maturity and can now have sex to reproduce.

The reason for the pain in intercourse is usually because of the breakage of the hymen. Some women don't experience so much pain because they either have a flexible hymen, or were born without one. But usually, its because the hymen breaks the first time they have sex. Or it could be that they had rough sex without enough lube, because that results in tears in the vagina and it's painful for the woman.

The reason why some women can't insert things into their vagina can be because their hymen is formed in such a way that inhibits the insertion of things, such as penises and tampons. Most women have a hymen with a small hole that is large enough to insert a tampon. But some women have a hymen with very very small holes in it that allows menstrual flow through but does not let tampons + penises go inside, and some women have a hymen with one very very very very small hole that a tampon can't even fit through. This could be why when they try having sex the penis can't go in.

When women hit menopause, their lack of hormones cause vaginal dryness. Then, it hurts more. But, lube and frequent sex helps alleviate that.

no there is no age. one of the fastest growing groups of HIV/AIDS patients is the elderly. They don't see the need for protection as pregnancy is not a huge risk.
