No, that board is overpriced and the 975 chipset is not that great. Look for something in the ASUS P5B series, it uses the P965 chipset which is much better, and will probably end up being less expensive.

Looks good to me..., Asus is pretty good about bios updates, which you might need if you are planning on a quad core.
