i need info or good websites for a project im doing on a egg drop but i dont need the experiment itself just research

A common approach is shock absorbers which attempt to absorb the energy when the device hits the ground. An alternate approach is a helicopter shaped devices that attempt to slow the device by coverting falling energy into rotational energy thus disappating the energy before the device hits.

Another variation is to try to make a container that will keep the egg from breaking when it is dropped into the container. This competition depends on the height the egg was dropped from and the height of the container that is being used to catch the egg. Commonly used materials are sand, peanut butter, and styrofoam.
