I would say do something for humanaty. Something worthwhile Like influenceing the life of a child. Being kind to people. Treating all with respect. These things will be passed on and on therefore you do live forever in your good works.

i know that you want the true answer and a scientific 1. With nowadays tech you can't because your cells are becoming older and you die. There is in development a new type of cell (i dont know its english name) which can be transformed into any cell in the whole body. if more cardio cells are put together, the cells will unite and form a heart. This thing was already tested. Having these kind of cells you will be able to copy parts of your body but in a younger way and than replace them. There will also be all kind of other technics. Docs are sayin that the teenagers, youths and kids nowadays will live enough so their life will be longered with up to 50 years.
the problem at the begining is the cost. Not many will afford it, but after 50 years they will be able to buy it.
History tells us about how humans became immortals. In a greek story a human finds a cure for oldness and he even resurects other humans. The gods became pissed off so they kill him.
i hope i'll get to be an immortal. Also people will advance in tech faster. There is one more problem. Nostradamus predicted that there will be another guy like hitler. If that guy gets to be immortal than we wont be able to wait till he dies and then correct everything. We will have to put soldiers who will die to kill him.

We are already are, and are continuing to ' live forever '. We are not God, yet we are Of God. The cycle of our beingness, experiencing live(s).
HOW to we live ' forever'?...We already are. We're just doing so as different realms, humans, life experiences, different aspects of the same connected 'energy', Love . . . God is Love, we are of God...being of Him...we are living forever.
Yet, if you mean as the common thought of 'how would a person live forever' ? Human thought is limited. So thinking solely in human thoughts, life is limited, thus not living 'forever'.

why would anyone want too? why are humans afraid of death? do they really believe all the heaven and hell mythology? who thinks life is so wonderful that they would want to live forever? the only reason people crave eternal life is because they fear the end of their life span. people need a whole new philosophy. isn't it about time? it has been over 2000 years.

Believe. Believe that something will happen after your physical body has long been gone. It may be a heaven or a nirvana of sorts. Whatever it may be, if you believe in SOMETHING, you will live on forever in a spiritual sense.

Who we are as humans is created by the people and experiences we encounter throughout our lives. Throughout our lives we influence, in some way, those we meet along the way. In a sense we become part of who they are. In the same way, they become part of the people they encounter and so on. In that way we do transcend death and live forever.

Omigosh. Who would WANT to live forever? Absolutely NOT ME!!!
