hey, i AM a private school kid. i was wondering if everyone thought they were spoiled snobs. well, they aren't! you're right, bigbird232...

they aren't all catholic. i don't go to a catholic private school.

I think most are like you and me . Human beings. I'm sure some might thin themselves better but you find that in all schools life in general.
I have had friends in PS and they've been ordinary folk No Airs

My daughter's in a private school (K) so I don't know if she's different than most or just normal like everyone else.
I like private school (not for religious purposes) but for teaching morals & values, another perk is that the classes are smaller thus the education is highly individualized.

I've been one. I've also been a public school kid. There are nice kids and mean kids in both kinds of schools. For the most part (and this wasn't true for all of them), the private school kids all seemed happy, but many of them weren't. They had money, but a lot of pressure and stress on them. The public school kids had less money, but they took life easier and had more fun.

Like any other kid. It's just that their parents are "making" them go to private school. Some parents feel it will open more opportunities for them, ensure a quality education, etc.
They're just kids - not any different from public schoolers.
