There are a few but The Notebook really got to me. I remember seeing it at the theater and when the lights came on after the movie ended, everyone started laughing because they were all trying to wipe the tears away. That was the only movie I can remember where you could hear people crying. I also thought E.T. , Love Story, and The Champ were pretty sad. I prefer the movies that make you cry because they are so happy like Pursuit of Happiness.

I think the movie that you saw is about Ryan White. I only saw a part of that movie and it was so sad. There are really only two movies that make me really sad. The first one is called "A. I. (Artificial Intelligence). It is like a super technology version of Pinnochio and all the little robot wanted was somebody to love him. That movie is awesome by the way. The second movie you shoould watch on a date if you want a girl crying in your arms. It is called "Moulin Rouge". It has terrific choreography and music. These two people are in love, but the woman is a stripper that wants to be an actress. But she has to pretend to love this rich duke she hates when she really loves the poor writer. She suffers from tuberculosis. And just as her and the writer are about to run off to start a wonderful life together....SHE DIES! It was so SO depressing which is why I am now watching only comedy and documentaries.

Boys In The Hood. That was the first movie that I saw like that and I cried like a baby (maybe I should say, I cried like a mama)- everyone at my house cried. What a lovely boy; family. That's when all that kind of behavior started out. I had kids that age back then. They should put that movie out on TV again.

Hands down, 'Homeward Bound', with the two dogs and the cat that cross the country trying to find their family? I've seen it so many times, and I know Shadow is going to come over that hill, but I break down every time I hear that little 'woof' in the background then see him come bounding over that hill to find Peter. I'm tearing up just thinking about it!

Platoon (1986) made me cry. It was very well done and very sad. And the music added to how emotional I was with that song in the helicopter seen where Willem Dafoe dies.. I am making myself sad thinking about that...
