Are they still friends in real life?

There hasn't been any report of Mercury having hard feelings for what happened during the match.

If anyone was to blame for what happened, it's Mercury himself. Everyone knew what was coming and it's Mercury's fault for making his head such an open target and not protecting himself well enough.

Still, everyone knew the risks involved when it comes to a TLC match, it's unfortunate that it had to happen but it sure looked great on TV

Mercury does not blame the Hardy's in real life as he understands that it was an accident. He knew the risks of participating in a ladder match and it was an unfortunante mishap.

This is all a stroyline for the WWE to build up a rivalry between MNM and the Hardys so we can finally see some decent tag team action!

The injury is very real i don't think he blames the Hardy's in a match like that accident do happen so i think they are still cool in real life. And Joey had just returned from rehab but will be a jobber at best when he returns. Unless plans change

no mercury doesnt blame hardy. he does on tv because the wwe writting crew wanted him to for better tv. in real life, jeff hardy and joey mercury are good friends. most wrestlers are backstage, which is why you never see a camera back there unless it is completely scripted. if we saw the friendships, it would kinda ruin the whole persona of the show.

The injury was 100% real. WWE doesnt lie about injuries. I guess Mercury realizes it was all an accident and the Hardys didn't really want to hurt him, so yeah I would say they are all friends in real life.

don't know. i saw his face on smackdown a few weeks ago and it looked pretty real to me. if the shot to the face by the ladder was fake and the bad cut on his face is fake, then all i can say is that the hardys must have practiced for months if not years perfecting that fake ladder shot and they make up if on joey's face if it really is just make-up was one hell of a perfect job, the kind of job that would be done by a make-up artist for a movie.

but personally, i would have to say it looks pretty real to me. if you ask me, i think the bad cut is real...

as far as if it was real then as for the question of whether they are still friends or not, i'd say that probably not but that joey will forgive him one day.

I'm not sure if they are friends or not, but they all understand that accidents happen, I'm sure there aren't any hard feelings, it just sucks as joey had just returned from an injury.

You can't blame them for something the ladder did that was uncontrollable. But I will tell ya I have a lot more respect for Mercury and MNM.
