Whatever nameplate is on your car other than "oldsmobile", such as "alero", "cutlass supreme", "achieva", "88" etc. That is the model. An example is: 1999 Ford Mustang, where "1999" is the model year, "Ford" is the brand or make, and "Mustang" is the model.

open the drivers side door and there will be a sticker inside that will tell you. If that is missing copy the vin number off of the dash. Located in the drivers side top corner, and call your local gm dealer and they will be able to tell you off of the vin.

Look at the chrome name plate on the trunk. It will say "Cutlass", or something. Look on the info sticker on the face of the driver side door. That may help.
