Nirvana of course is first, then second is Alice in Chains. I dont care for pearl jam and soundgarden.

Tough choices. I think either Alice in Chains or Soundgarden. I absolutely love both of them...and I think they were both very underrated.

Nirvana was cool on Bleach and In Utero. Those were my two favorite albums.
I like Pearl Jam before they became Pearl Jam. Mother Lovebone was much better. I just can't stand Eddie Vedder. Don't ask me why.

nirvana only got good when dave grohl joined. they were a sick band, and back then i would say they would be my choice. but pearl jam would have to take it, they've written some timeless songs and have never released a bad album (riot act just wasnt as good as the rest). they've stood the test of time, eddie vedder sounds better than ever, and they are all better musicians than those of nirvana, alice in chains or soundgarden!
