Gary obviously does not understand what a 'theory' is. A Theory is not a random guess, but:
* is consistent with pre-existing theory to the extent that the pre-existing theory was experimentally verified, though it will often show pre-existing theory to be wrong in an exact sense, and
* is supported by many strands of evidence rather than a single foundation, ensuring that it is probably a good approximation, if not totally correct.
Additionally, a theory is generally only taken seriously if it:
* is tentative, correctable and dynamic, in allowing for changes to be made as new data is discovered, rather than asserting certainty, and
* is the most parsimonious explanation, sparing in proposed entities or explanations, commonly referred to as passing the Ockham's razor test.
What you quote there, written from a bible, is written by people (note: people, not a god) with no proof or evidence offered.

I dont believe in God but i do believe that if life can exist it will. There are all sorts of different lifeforms on earth so why not on other non terrestrial bodies? I think that life is the norm and not the esxception to the norm. It is also my contention that God created humans about a second or two after man created god. As soon as mankind was able to ask the question "why are we here?", God was created as an idea to give purpose to life and make an otherwise arbitrary existence meaning.
So No God, but yes to aliens, whatever form they take.

I do believe in God, but I also believe in science. People are so convinced that the two have nothing to do with one another, but I believe evolution and God worked more or less hand in hand. In fact, if the universe is infinite like scientists now believe, the fact that there aren't any other life forms (I don't know if they'd necesarily be considered aliens) is absurd. So, in closure I guess I am saying that I do believe in all three!

Aliens and evolution I believe in.
We have no proof of aliens but evolution seems to be a fact, and is very logical.

If you keep looking at a piece of paper under a higher powered microscope you will see more and more things, past the atomic and quantum level, imagine a microscope so powerful that we could see that with certainty that there are no smaller particles that make up the universe. We will call these particles pankatoids. And again if we determine that the pankatoids are indeed the smallest level of matter. Someone/something had to make these particle, even the particles of monkeys or aliens. We call this something God.

I believe in the the theory of evolution, just wonder when the next step is. God was created by Kings as another form of subjugation for our faith which in turn was probably due to us being self aware. Aliens, of course there is life Jim but not as we know it.

God and Creation are more believable to me then Evolution or being seeded with life by Aliens. Because in order for us to be seeded they would have to be at least 5 Light years away or less in order to make it without dying or running out of Fuel/Supplies.
