Rather like the stories of the Garden of Eden, I suppose. Moderate climate, warm enough to not need much in the way of clothing, but not so hot that you suffer from it. Perhaps pretty warm but reasonably consistent breezes.

It would have very lush growth of mostly edible plants, and it would be able to support not only humans but horses and dogs and a regular Noah's Ark of earth-bred animals. It would have a good natural balance but without a lot of violent swings. A tranquil landscape, and plenty of reasonably well-behaved oceans. Perhaps a smaller moon than Earth's, to make the tides less pronounced. Even better, several small moons, which damp out various tidal effects but make an interesting pattern of light and dark.

Minerals and other natural resources that need to be dug out would abound in old river beds, in the stratified layers, easy to locate and easy to mine. Precious metals and crystals would be plentiful.

Warm weather--with about 3 colddays a year (with show) just for fun. Lots of cats, dogs, and other animals--and no politicians, lawyers, or preachers.
