the bags are from tireness and stress. i have them too. the best way to help get rid of it is sleep more.... and put ice on them to slow down the bloodflow. about the burning of your ice just close them and leave them closed. and good luck on your finals

If you really think the problem is eye strain, one of the best things you can do for yourself is to set a timer. Study for 15 minutes and when the timer goes off, have something at a distance to look at and concentrate on for a few minutes. The puffiness might be from rubbing your itchy eyes. But, with the puffiness and the eyes hurting, you might very well be suffering from an allergy. Allergies can develop at any time in life, so don't rule them out.

Stress. Try a cool compress as you are straining your eyes which could lead to headaches. Have you had your eyes checked recently?? Rest is the best thing to get rid of the swollen blood vessels under your eyes.
Good luck with your finals.
