Yes little sweet...
for most of us. wait 5 or 6 weeks.my sister in law got pregnant when her baby was 3 weeks old...you have to use protection!! which just makes things more difficult...get some K Y gel When you think you are ready..Tell your husband he needs to take it very slow.Almost calm! lol...And if he gets too pushy...make him wait. YOU are in control.so just relax. It gets easier every time.Make sure you have a few days rest before the next time.
Sound like virginity? that's about right. lol
Good Luck!
its natural and it doesn't bother some woman at all!

I can't answer for every woman--but I gave birth 4.5 months ago, so it's a recent memory ;)

Doctors recommend waiting 6 weeks for a couple really good reasons. A few are that your cervix is still open, and you can possibly get an infection (not good), and if you had stitches, you could tear them out (ouch!), etc., etc.

Another is because it HURTS. It really does. It's bearable, but very difficult. Possibly especially for me, because my husband and I only waited 11 days--but I also talked to a friend who waited 6 MONTHS to have sex--and it still hurt her pretty badly too. So I guess it hurts the first few (or many) times no matter how long you wait.

For me, it compared to the first time I ever had sex. Just the really rough, almost scraping, friction (yes, even with lube).
And also just opening up again after stretching to ungodly proportions hurts. There is also the psychological factor. If you are scared, you tense up, which makes it hurt more, which makes you tenser, which makes it hurt even more...etc., etc.

Hope that helps.

Technically you are supposed to wait 6-8 weeks after having a baby before having sex no matter how many stitches or what kind of tearing you have. Even after that...it is still painful. Doctors just give that time span...but some woman it takes longer than that before sex is comfortable again

I had a generic vaginal beginning and we waited until 5 a million/2 weeks. I had some stitches so it harm somewhat the 1st few situations yet we in simple terms took it gradual and finally it went back to customary.

Congrats on your baby. And the answer to your question is usually yes. Tell your husband to be extremely gentle. You have to remember that you just passed a bowling ball through a keyhole. It will take a bit for the healing. My wife and I did it with her on top for a while so she could have more control over what she could tolerate. Be sure to use plenty of lubricant also. Good luck and have fun!

I think so. After 6 weeks, it was still very painful for quite a while. Lubricant helps quite a bit, but it's still difficult. Hopefully you have an understanding husband.

Right after giving birth?

Even though I've never given birth, I really can understand why sex would hurt after having pushed out a baby. Besides...there are a multitude of things that happen to a woman's vagina when giving birth...like severe vaginal tearing. That would kill.

You should wait the time until you stop bleeding. Sex while bleeding can allow bacteria to get into the uterus and cause possible infections.
