Mono is a virus that makes you really tired, it is often referred to as the kissing disease. You can get it from kissing or drinking after each other. It is nothing to worry about and will go away. You need lots of rest when you have mono.

Mononucleosis, often referred to as the "kissing disease. It is usually passsed through saliva or mucous, rarely coughing. A simple blood test can help you find out if you have it. The symptoms include fever, sore throat, headaches, white patches on the back of your throat, swollen glands in your neck, feeling tired. If you do have ity, you have to avoid activiity cuz it could cause the spleen to elargen and possibly rupture (Left upper quadrant of your abdomen is where spleen is located) There is no "cure" You just have to rest and take care of symptoms such as fever and sore throat.

Mono is a virus that attacks the spine. I don't know too much about it, other than it hits pretty hard and can cause immobility for weeks. You can always google it to find out more.

It's the kissing disease. It's not contagious unless your kissing them or they sneeze on you and it gets into or mouth or something along those lines. It won't kill him either it's just that he shouldn't go around kissing people and I think they need bedrest but they fully recover. I think it would go better in the health section of yahoo answers.

it's a virus that you can get my kissing too much, or just by a bacteria. it feels worse than the flu. and you can be hospitalized, or at least stay home for a week.

it's a virus. It goes away, but it is catchable by their slava. That is why they call it the kissing disease. It is not a disease though. it is mononucliosus.
