I recently bought some stop nail biting polish and have used it for almost 2 weeks and my nails haven't grown at all. How long does it usually take to grow your nails after a 15 year habit of biting?? I haven't bit my nails at all for the whole time I have been using the product. I just am getting frustrated on how long it's taking. Please help.

I have read this book when I'm a child and i have remember that nails grow faster in tropical weather.. and it will grow 1 mm in two weeks time.. but here is some tip that might help you..

Nail Growth Tip
The speed of nail growth is increased if you enjoy a healthy diet. It's a proven fact. Illness however, can slow it down.

I'm including some foods that can easily be worked into your diet.

* An egg salad sandwich that has lots of spinach in place of lettuce and just a little salad dressing.
* A veggie salad complete with dressing that contains lots of chopped garlic.
* A wholesome cereal (not the sugary stuff, sorry) along with two slices of whole wheat toast with natural peanut butter. Did you know that there are peanut butters on the market with no added sugar or salt!
* An omelette with cheese and tomatoes.
* Grilled chicken on a whole wheat bun.

Well I'd say two weeks but it looks like your nails are different. Maybe instead put a nail growth polish on under the nail biting polish that may work better. Also take a daily vitamin because I believe Vitamin A helps nail growth and calcium.

Go to GNC and buy some liquid minerals, ask the worker there to find "colloidal liquid minerals" for you. I think it is like 30$ a bottle that lasts 2 months or so. I take it for other reasons, but my nails grow really fast. Most people don't get the proper amount of minerals in their diet anyways, so there will be other health benefits. Using the polish will keep you from biting them and this will help them grow quickly.

he convex glossy nails - the ten commandments of hand or foot - usually differ from one person to another in quality (i.e. in colour, shape, smoothness, thickness, strength) & with growth against adjacent skin. The continuous growth of nails usually leads the free border of the nail away from the nail bed which supports the nail. But sometimes it may get struck to the skin, due to the crumbling nature of nail or with the barrier of the skinfold remaining in front of nail-free edge.
