im vacationing in el salvador with my gf and we found an iguana that has been hit on the head with a rock and its left eye is swollen and its mouth is kinda bleeding and it only moves ocasionally and it just lays there how can i help it please real answers only!

the neighbors told me they saw some kids running after it trying to catch it and one of them threw a rock at it

Contact the SPCA or local shelter and let them know. They can take care of it. Otherwise, contact a wildlife vet or a vet that treats exotics and have him seen.

Call the local police there and ask them what their proceedure is for their country. Tell them you are not from there and what you found. Maybe they have vets there that will care for it like we do here. (USA) Hope this helps.

what will be will be , just keep him out of harms way now and wait either he will come out of it or die if it looks like he is suffering put him in a paper bag and put the mouth of the bag around the tailpipe of a car it is quick and painless.thanks for caring
