Practice and repetition is key. For accuracy, Your release point is very critical. You need to release right at your hip. Make sure to follow through to make a 90 degree angle, almost as if you are lifting dumbbells. Your hips are also important as you need to stride right towards the plate. Follow through with your hips, also, by squaring up to the plate. You hips and release point are the most important features of a softball pitchers "windup."
