The one problem I have always had with the English Rugby and Cricket is; that they are one time heroes.
Example they won the ashes and then got hammered not long after their triumph.
They won the World Cup rugby then had the worst streak of losses.
Please take them back we don't want them.

If the only way to be allowed to come home is to win then every Sportsman would have to either give up their sport or only compete in England! Or is the next step going to be kicking them out of the Country for losing at home! It has to apply to all Sports as it would be another form of prejudism not to, but we have enough of them already. Mind you I'd be quite happy to see the back of the Soccer Teams we send out under the English flag!

Hmmm...I'll bet 18 months ago you were waving the flag and cheering them on their bus tour of London when they won the Ashes so gloriously.
If they win, they are gods and if they lose, they are vermin...thats always been the major problem with English sports, we cant acccept just being ok, and either over-praise or over-criticize. The British press dont help either, they need something to write about and aren't happy without someone to either treat as a hero or a scapegoat.
The team underperformed, sure, but they lost to possibly the best Australian team ever who were playing at the absolute top of their game. Defeat in those circumstances is no disgrace, and ultimately... its only a bloody game!

No! We'll put up 50,000 feet barriers up at Heathrow Airport!
But seeing that half of the original squad are back here (Tresco, Gilo, and Now KP), I think that its better if we do let them back. But remember- the Aussies don't have McGrath, Warney, Langer, or Martyn next time- AND England finally has a keeper that can bat- Paul Nixon.

Come on guys, they've failed but if we were to deny access to all failures then there'd be no-one left in Westminster after the holiday season (after all, long haul is okay - official). Bring 'em home and send them back to cricket school. (New coach though).

Yes with some constraints - first being that Arcadia holds a position as team psychologist -you get that team right more than most - and more importantly haven't added to the tongue lashing received by "representatives" of your nation. Second being they have personality that adds to the game, welcome anytime here!

maybe the so called ECB known as the "English WELSH Cricket Board" should change to WCB.
You have no doubt where the W comes from:))
Fecking farce! If you ask me!
Fecking laughing stock, that tactic memo leaked to the Aussie press was a laughing stock and the end of the series in my mind!

Yeah, they should be brought back to suffer in the English winter, not the glorious Aussie summer. I think that's the problem - they're not used to sunny weather - they're used to English weather, where they have to stop for the rain, & get a break.

They should stay in Australia so we can teach them a thing or two about playing cricket.
