I'm not a big ocean fan, but my husband has never been to a place in the caribbean. I thought Jamaica might be nice because there are mountains/forests too and we and could get away from the beach a little. I've been to Jamaica a long time ago, thought that might be a start, this will be an anniversary present so I want it to be great. I really don't want to worry about these "hidden charges" that I keep hearing about.

applevacations.com or funjet.com

There are not hidden charges with either of these, I've used them before. All-Inclusive means airfare, transfer to and from the airport, meals, snacks and drinks. Some places do have an extra cost for top shelf booze, or special more expensive meals. Most will offer non motorized sports with the AI cost, anything else has a cost, if you want to do excursions away from the resort that is a cost to you as well most excursions run in the $70 -100 range of course there are more costly ones, but of course they are optional. There is a lot to do there other than the ocean activities and sunbathing, you can go to Coffee Plantations, shopping, and I suggest for something fun, not to over the top and memorable go to Falmouth and see the phosphorescent bay, the water glows from this gas, and there are only 3 places in the world that have it, it's memorable and awesome!

If you use a travel agent he or she will put all the cost up front. I am a travel agent and I use the fun jet sight for agents and everything should be included in a all-inclusive trip. Feel free to e-mail me and I can give you any answers you need.
