OK,
come on now people
first off, troy smith is not the most overated heisman off all time (he had one bad game against a very good defense)

second, all you people who say eric crouch, chris weinke, ron dayne, etc. are overated heisman winners you are wrong

the heisman trophy award is not the who is going to do the best in the nfl award or who will have the best stats in the nfl award

IT IS A COLLEGE FOOTBALL AWARD!!!!!!!!

it is an award for the player who had the best college football season
IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE NFL!!!!!

Well WHAT A CRAZY FLORIDA DEFENSE!! Troy Smith deserves the Heisman in my opinion. Yeah they lost, but Everyone does! Losing is part of winning and growing as a player. But everyone hates to lose. He's a great QB and will go far in the NFL.

Actually no he is a really good quater back that will be picked in the top 3 of a really good draft class he just had a horrible game against a really good team
P.S. I am a texas fan not a troy smith fair weather lover

Cant tell you that untill he gets his NFL shot,

Danny "Awful" Wuerful (cant spell his name)
Eric Crouch
Chris Weinke

all those guys won heismans, what did they ever do in the NFL?

Awful was a career back up, Weinke has been so far and doesnt show signs of improving that and is Crouch even in the league anymore??

totally he losses one player and then goes 4-19 he sucks if a good Heisman winning QB should throw all over teams even if his best WR goes down he just can't depend on one solo guy or that WR should of got the Heisman then

No Ron Danye is. The perfect example of a college superstar gone stale in the pros.

People have their off days? Peyton Manning went 3-13 in his first season does that mean he is overrated?
