I believe you would need a DVI cable to connect your computer monitor to your tv, if you want to set it up that way.

This depends on what type of television you have and what type of inputs are available. A lot of newer televisions (especially HD ones) are actually monitors. Some don't even include TV tuners, but instead rely on the converter box to convert the signal and transfer it to the monitor via component video cable, HDMI, or some other type of cable connection. What you need to do is convert the output from your computer (typically 15 pin serial connections) and convert it somehow to whatever inputs are required for your TV/monitor. Some computers may have an S-Video out connection, in which case you could (if available) connect to an S-Video connection on your TV (with the appropriate S-Video cable).
If not, you may require a special converter such as an S-video adapter. Check here (http://www.svideo.com/pc2tv.html) for some more information and specific products.
Note that you may need to adjust your display settings to 600x800, especially if you have a CRT TV.

If your video card has an s-video output port and your TV has an s-video input port, I believe you just need to buy an s-video cable and plug it in. s-video cables are pretty inexpensive and very easily found, either on the web or at your local electronics store. If either of them doesn't have s-video, it might be a little more troublesome.
An s-video port is round and looks sort of similar to a mouse or keyboard port.

in all honesty it's not worth the investment as the results will not be what you woud expect. TV programs are all togeather diffrent than what your computer puts out.
Try web tv and maybe you would like it better than buying a bunch of add ons. You may also just think about a very large monitor. Search http://www.ebay.com for monitors. I think this would be your best bet in the end.

There are graphics cards that have TV OUT functions. If yours does not, they are cheap.
But I guarentee you will not like the results of viewing your computer on a TV screen. A TV screen has a very low resolition.

countless the present images playing cards have DVI. So save round. and flow with a Samsung television their show is the perfect (believe me). you even ought to recollect that the pixel high quality of video show gadgets are better than the pixel high quality of television's.

You can get a TV out card or a video card with TV out, but it isn't a great solution.
