I don't know for sure...I would tell you to see a doctor, but you have no insurance, so do what you think is best...
Here's my experience. I was on the pill back between the ages of 19 and about 25 or 26. I had some problems and switched brands. The new brand caused me to have a mid-cycle period (basically, break-through bleeding).
I immediately knew it was the new birth control pill I was taking. The only thing I can recommend you do is either stop taking the pill (see if you return to normal) or get a new brand. It may be the problem.

I have had this very same problem my first time taking birth control pills. Sometimes it may take a few tries to figure out which ones work best for you and your body. It does sound like your hormones are out of whack. And call around to local ob/gyns I have the same issue (no insurance) and you would be surprised how many private practices will see you for free or will at least work out a pymt plan for you. It's completely confidential. Just tell the appointment desk your financial situation and she will get you over to accounting or the finance department. Hope everything works out. God bless

the same thing happened to me in february. i had my regular period, but then when i thought it was done it started bleeding heavy again and then would stop and start again. i thought i was pregnant or had a miscarriage. (i was 17 at the time). umm... anyways i went to my gyno and she did a pap smear. the results came back abnormal. so i had to go in for whats called a colposcopy, where they go deep into the cervix to fnd abnormalities. they pour vinegar on the cervix and if they're are white spots, thats abnormal. i had abnormalities and had to go into a surgery called a "cold cone" surgery. they go in deeper to remove all the abnormalities they can. its a minor surgery and they do put you under anasthesia. that same thing might be going on with you. you better get into a gyno so it doesnt turn into HPV or cervical cancer. hope this helps!:D

My co-worker had the same problem her first year on birth control. Her problem turned out to be cysts on her ovaries. Birth control really messes with your hormones. Unfortunately, you need to contact a general physician or ob/gyn. I hope they work out a payment plan for you because your lack of medical coverage.
Good luck.

You can get a free pap smear call the county department of public health or look in your local phone book in the county gov. listings under women's health. You could have fibroid tumors or endometriosis.

Sounds like your hormones have gone nuts.
That sounds really abnormal, and even though you have no medical insurance you really should go see a doctor.

Go see a doctor, that is serious. Your health is more important than medical bills.

Sorry, but you do need to see your doctor. No one else will be able to either figure out the problem or write a different prescription.

Consult your Gynac without delay. You can start drinking Noni herbal fruit juice twice a day with water for about six months.
