If he were in a akward situation I would definitely help him, but he denied me and told me go do it yourself when I'm stuck at home with baby, no money and terrible cramps in addition to backache. Plus he was already on his way over here and ask me if I needed anything. What a Jerk.

Sounds like you NEED a boyfriend...he might be a boy, but he's not much of a friend! I'd show him to the door, and find a man that loved me.

No your not wrong. He is your longterm bf, and I am guessing the baby is his, so there should be nothing unexpecting in your relationship. My bf buys tampons for me if I need him to. I think some men are embaressed about things like this. He prob just feels weird. That does not mean you should break up with him. Its a guy thing, some guys will some wont. Dont let something so small ruin a good relationship.

First off, how long is long term? If you are not living together then you really can't expect him to do that for you. I've been with my husband for 9 years and he still throws a fit if he has to get them for me. It's just not comfortable for most men to do that. Now my dad was the oldest of and had 6 sisters so he was used to it but most men aren't. Good luck though.

Pads -NO, Tampons -YES. What if he asked you to do it after, gave you the $$$ and watched the kid? Sounds like jenny mccarthy in "Dirty Love". Tell your BF to listen to Tom Lycas on the radio and maybe he will run for his life from you!

I would be pissed to, but allot of guys are like that. They think there men but aren't men enough to buy feminine products! Forgive him in the end, its not worth breaking up over but chew him out and tell him thanks for nothing.

Tells you something about him huh? May need to find someone that can do things for you when you really need to. He needs to learn that the thought of things are somtimes worse than just doing them. Then you realize there was really nothing to it.

hmmm He sounds like an asshole. I ask my boyfriend to buy pads, etc. He does it, or else he wouldn't be my boyfriend heh.

Anyway, you are definitely not wrong. He's an inconsiderate sh*t.

Perhaps you are wrong to stay with a boyfriend like that. If he doesn't take care of you, then find another man who will take care.
