I wan't to use a clip from a Miramax movie to post on youtube.com and livevideo.com.
How do I go about getting the rights to show it? Who do I contact?

This may sound obvious, but did u try their website, I'm sure you'll find licensing info from there.

You need to contact the distributor for showing a movie clip. In this case it is Mirimax.
Careful what others say - copyright violation isn't protected by Youtube, so you are wise to looking into the legalities of it : )

The distributor is probably Buena Vista. It depends on the title.

Youtube is in obvious violation of copyright law all the time.
