Humanist? Funny, you seem to know nothing of humans or how they are. Speaking or writing in a manner that tries to make yourself sound intelligent does not make you the voice of reason, but instead merely one more voice muddying the waters of reason with false idealism. Air strikes, particularly those employed by the U.S. and the Israeli militaries using modern weapons designed for uncanny accuracy and precision, reduce the chances of the death of innocent bystanders. On the other hand, the use of ied's and suicide bombers is designed specifically to cause the most harm to innocent civilians, assuming civilians whose nations are at war are innocent bystanders. Furthermore, I can stomach no more of this idiotic comparison to terrorism. Do you really believe that you stating that we are bombing women and children and the aged makes it the truth? The only part of your so called question that rates an answer from reasonable people is the part about the repercussions, and no one on this site that I have heard from is qualified to answer it very accurately other than to say there Will as you state, be repercussions of course. I wish I knew what you really felt you are standing up for, but in truth I know you will probably just spout more anti-American rantings as this one.

this is basically black on black crime the Kenyans kicked the Somalians the radical Somalians out of Mogadishu and when the Somalian radicals were cornered by the Kenyans in southern? Somalia we then came in and killed the radical Somalians killed we have no clue how many air strikes will kill everything around it it has no favorites nor can it only pick out the bad guys as someone said this is not terrorism as we know it . this is something we should leave alone .

The United States needs to leave brown and black people alone because their history shows that they hold grudges for thousands of years. We will never know a time when we will not be on the top of their enemies list. Because we are victims of the policies of the Bush administration, we will be in real danger from now on.

No, it's retaliation for terrorism. Al-Qaida are NOT "innocents," and killing them DOES solve something -- it takes away their ability to wage their holy war!
