The desire that some girls (women) seem to have to own expensive designer brand purses. I think that would be an interesting angle to write about. Why this need for a purse that is so costly with the name of the designer or logo plastered all over it.

Two popular brands of purses and the history of them. You can pick from Louis Vuitton, Coach, Dooney and Bourke.
Or write descriptions of the styles and the history of each style (who first designed it, when it became popular, etc.) Choose from Hobo, Messenger, Tote, Clutch.
