I have Microsoft Office Word and a COMPAQ Presario IJ1200 printer.

I have no idea what a duplexer is, and I can't sit and flip it because my document is twenty pages long.

The “Compaq IJ1200 Users Manual” has detailed instructions for printing on both sides of the paper. See section 2 “Printing beyond the basics” – “Printing on both sides of a sheet of paper” (on the printed manual it is found on pages 9-11. If you do not have the manual you can get it at the link below – when viewing the PDF of the manual it is found on pages 13-15).

Print a page then insert the paper the other way and print the next page.

Goto to printer properties click printing preferences>Page setup and see what you have on the printing type column

go to your file menu, Page set up and then click on print and just one, then put your paper in again and reverse the paper. Or if it asks for print on both sides then follow the instructions.

Do you have a duplexer installed in the printer

print one side...flip over the paper...print the other page

Only put ten pages then when done flip
