If x is Theo's age, the x + 3 would be 3 years older than theo. Don't know where you got the 10 or the 13, unless there's more to the problem than what you gave

it would be y=x +3

y represents this guy and x represents theo. then if u evaluate it would be 10+3=13 so you are correct just make sure to write y=x+3

That is correct. If I think I know what the question is, then I am assuming that we know the age of the individual who is older than Theo but we do not know theo's age, therefore we are solving for X.
