Condomns are supposed to be 92-99% effective against both pregnancy and STD's if used properly. Since most people tend to mess up, it's more like 82%. Most birth control is 99% effective when used properly. You can find out exact numbers for everything at your local Planned Parenthood.

Birthcontrol is sposed to be really high in protecting if they are taken correctly. Condoms do break. ours did many times. Condoms dont protect against stds such as herpies. many people have herpies and dont even realize they have the virus. of course if someone has more of the internal stds im not sure if that can be sent through a condom or not. very scary thought to think about. Thank GOD I am in a faithful marriage and dont have to worry about that
