An event becomes legend through simple re-telling of the story. With each person's story, comes a bigger and more interesting story, and thus, legends are born. P.S. Good luck with your homework and don't believe legends or gossip!

When something happens that's so cool and outrageous that everyone is talking about it and they keep talking about it again and again for years and years. It's really cool.
