my friend and her whole family strongly belevie in star signs and horoscopes and i think she gets real annoyed at me coz i dont beleive in them. i really really dont beleive but i accept that she does. why wont she accept that i dont believe?

You are the bigger person in this story because you don't have any problem with her believes...you should talk to her and tell her your opinion and if she is your friend she should not be annoyed with the fact that you don't have the same believes as her.
Everyone should accept the believes of others and not try to change them in there believes.

You can show a lot of articles on the Web why astrology does not work but that will not likely bring her to reality. Believers say that you need an open mind but close their own to the possibility that they may be wrong.

She probably believes strongly in what she believes. She should accept that your ok with what she believes in and that you dont care much about it. You two should should be able to get along on other subjects then just her beliefs.

Have you ever asked her put in those terms before? She might not realize that you're respecting her but she's not respecting you. Then be sure to tell her that you really don't think it's a point worth breaking up a friendship. Life has too many disagreements.

Everybody have their own beliefs. Ask your friend to respect your beliefs also. But one thing is that you should not interfere in their beliefs.
