Being a Chiefs fan, I find it hard to say, but LT holds a slight edge on LJ.

Tomlinson, no doubt.
But Johnson is interesting. This guy is an absolute beast, and without Tomlinson (and Barber) would be the clear number 1.
One more thing, if I have one play to get 4 yards, I give the rock to LJ and leave Tomlinson on the pine.
Johnson is best pure runner. Tomlinson best overall back.

Right now, definatly LT. Not only that, but I believe he will go on to be (one of) the greatest running backs ever. However, when he's gone, I think Larry Johnson will be the number one running back.

LT hes the MVP in running its very close and i would give the slight edge to Larry. But in recieving theres no competition LT is like a WR plus LT could never get completly shut down cause he will either hurt you running or recieving.

LT
His receiving skills are top notch. He caught 100 balls one season. He's arguably the most versatile tailback ever, with apologies to the likes of Marshall Faulk.
LJ has great vision and raw power, but isn't has polished. I've also never seen him THROW several TDs in a year.
