I guess I will be going against all the other people who have answered your question but I totally disagree. Love has so many deep-seated, hormonal, emotional, uncontrollable feelings. It is based on every emotion. Even smell, touch. Hate, on the other hand, has to do with past experiences, insecurities, lifestyles, appearances, expectations and disappointments. So you see, love is based on the positive, while hate is based on all negative. Love is unavoidable. Hate is ignorable. Hope this makes sense.

Who says that either emotion is 'uncontrollable'? and in what sense is it uncontrollable?
Both emotions are subjective experiences upon which we hang labels.
How do you know that your Love or your Hate is the same as the next guys? How can you know that what you feel is called Love or Hate?
Both emotions have their positive and negatives, but the worse one is that of 'indifference' (which is actually the opposite to that of Love).

No, you only hate if someone causes you to hate them by doing bad things, but love is uncontrollable, there nothing someone can do to make you love them

I don't think either emotion is uncontrollable. People hate because they are not willing to find the reason they hate. Because it is a flaw in us. We are either jealous, envious or we do not understand. it is easier to hate then figure out why.

Generally yes. since all human are born insecure..it's a natural instinct to emote negative feelings as a defence mechanism.

Very much so. I believe in Hate at first sight as I do Love at first sight. There are people that others just look at and instantly know they don't like them and are usually right.

No. U can't control hate but u should at least try to let things go. As for love u can't help who u fall for.
