apparently some of you neolibs don't understand the question.
I'm asking if you would carefully chooses your words when calling someone black a name, versus calling someone white a name. If you would, then you are the worst kind of racist. you are the kind that hides it.

Well obviously the closet racist comment is false because he IS white and still IS called a chimp. If he were black and he looked as he does now, then yes, he'd be called a chimp.

You do have a point...What if someone called a Black person monkey or chimp. Just look at the politician that called a black reporter "macaca." You can't get much more obscure than that reference, but he lost the election as a result. The screams of racism would be bouncing off the walls if Bush was black. But because Bush is white, no one says a thing.

Neither. I look at bush and I see a chimp. However to be fair, this is not an appropriate way to characterize the pResident.
We know that decent chimpanzees the world over deserve better.
If its pejorative, its Bush. I can call him a giggly serial killer, a con artist, a hand/ sock puppet. president Bunnypants, Jr., there are all kinds of other names out there. it has NOTHING to do with ethnicity.
I refer to Rice as Condescension Rice or Can't Believe-uh Rice.
Nothing racist there. You on the other hand are miffed that there are millions here in the US who find your choice of president untenable at best. Millions more out side the US agree with me. Even if he had NOT stolen the 2000 election I would still find him less than desirable.

I am mostly pro-Bushie, even though his stance on and total lack of action on the Hispanic Invasion gets me mad enough to go postal!
I would say that to joke about his chimp like features is almost endearing! Believe me, when people are really out to harm a public figure, joking about their appearance is going after them lightly!
I have said much worse to emphasize my extreme displeasure with his lunatic stance on the invasion and his lack of understanding of the full range of issues and damage being done!
Would you believe it was possibly because I am unable to knock some sense into his head with a 2X4! And that I was trying very hard to get his attention anyway!

I don't think carefully choosing words when calling someone black a name or someone white a name means your racist... it just means you don't want anyone to call you a racist, regardless if you are one or not...
it's just being hypersensitive and being afraid someone may call you a racist... and if you're not a racist, then you probably wouldn't want to be called one...
just because you may be afraid to be called a racist...doesn't make you one...
I don't think I've ever called him that... but either way... your logic seems flawed...

Black or white, he is still made bad decisions. But if he were black he would probably blame the peoples disatisfaction with his decisions on racism; basically saying; "It's 'cause I'm black!"
So, no. Black or white, he is still an asshole.
I think you're the racist though. Your basically saying that if Bush were black, everything would be excused. No. It dosen't matter if he is black, white, yellow, blue, green, or pink.

I think we have a case of Republicans dishing it out but being unable to take it. If you notice the names that Bush and other reich wingers (excuse me, I meant to say right wingers) are called, they're downright tame to the kinds of vile names I have seen Republicans call those who disagree with them.
