Have you ever heard Mikka Kiprosoff talk. Most goalies eventually get interviewed, but I have never seen the "Kipper", in an interview it makes me wonder if he avoids the media. But he is cool.

I just saw an interview after his shutout tonight.

You have to remember.

1) He is from Finland, so English is his second language. You usually see that many Europeans give fewer interviews in the early years because it is public speaking in a foreign language to them. He has been in Canada quite awhile now, so he should start doing more.

2) Many Goalies are loaners and tend to give fewer interviews than other stars on the team. They have a different mindset and different oddities and preparation than the rest of the team. I have never seen a goalie give a pregame or a intermission interview. They have all those other team leaders that are very vocal that do those interviews. I have only seen post game interviews for goalies.

Here is an occasion for you to hear what he had to say at the training camp, in September.
