that when you are in elementary all the teachers are women, and in middle school, still mostly women, but a couple men, then in high school a lot more men, fewer women, then in college-way more male teachers than females. why is that?
do you think it has to do with a tolerance for certain age groups? or something else?
or has your experience been different?

women have babies & stay home. men dont have the double standard & they dont get penalized for having children.plus they like all the college girls, wives are home & not so interesting any more

That's EXACTLY how my school is! Grade school was all women, junior high is all women and two men, and the highschool I'm going to has a lot more male teachers than females. I really don't know why, usually I think because women can handle little kids better than men

good observation i noticed the same thing more men in high school and collage teaching than in the elementary schools however i don't no why that is maybe it is cuz we women are better with the little ones

I think it's because men can't handle small children like females can. They at times get on mens nerves. I don't know I'm just guessing but I have noticed.

women are better at nurturing than men. So younger children do better with women typically. Also older kids respond better to authoritive figures and take advantage of nurturers.

i would say more women like little kids and it's not as long of a education to teach elementry or middle schoo so that = kids of theer own less work ect ect
