I couldn't believe that he was being heckled before they killed him. That's just not right. Mass murderer or not, let's keep it professional.

whenever humanity revels in its own vulgar brutality it is disgusting...this was an indisputable instance where killing the man solved nothing but the question of who is more barbaric...the one doing the murdering or the one willing to broadcast murder, in its cold-black reality, uncut to the rest of the world.

That was mortifying, embracing and degrading to everyone involved.

It was awful i must say,but that is how they treat people over in the middle east, this is the first time that i have ever heard of a leader being hung tho. This goes on all the time over there this was a high profile case but you don't here about the other people who are hung or stoned to death or executed by being shot in the back I could not even watch it,the thought of them putting the noose around his neck made my stomach ache.

I can understand your point of view, but it isn't hard to understand how people who had family and friends killed by Saddam might celebrate seeing him die. Imagine what it might be like if Hitler was brought to trial by the Jews and executed by their survivors. I don't think it would have been a sedate affair.

I saw the execution and I didn't feel any pity for him or for the fact that he was taunted. So he got heckled. So what? He got off rather easy compared to what he did to his own victims.

He deserves to die, no doubt about it . But that's not the way.
That wasn't an execution, it was a circus.A murder show for saddam's enemies.
It was like a Wolf at lion's claws.
However he is dead, thats the end.

He got what he deserved. He tortured people before he killed them, don't you find that disgusting? It was justice not murder. I guess you really can't understand the pain death and abuse does to a person or you wouldn't have asked this question.

Living under a brutal regime tends to make people react that way when they feel they finally got justice.

Those are the people whose families were killed or tortured by him. He got off light. You should see what many concentration camp prisoners did to camp guards when the allies came and liberated them in WWII.
