Yes, it does. It either carries the x or y chromosome. Woman have nothing but x. XX makes a girl. XY makes a boy.

Yes sperm is the only determination of the sex of a baby. In the past the kings were known to cutting off his wifes head it she delivered a baby girl, when all the time it was him that inpregnated her with the gender.

Well you have your answer half right. The chormosomes are what make up the gender of your baby. Only the Male has the chromosomes to decide the gender though.

It sure does our egg is and X and if the sperm that reaches the egg is an X is a girl and if the sperm that reaches the egg is a Y than its' a boy.
