I'm watching Sleepers now and he's great in it but he has so many good ones- Travis Bickle, Jimmy Conway, Ace Rothstein, Michael from Deer Hunter. He's the best actor out now.

He *was* the best actor for awhile. Pacino is way better of the older guys. I think all of DeNiro's roles up to & including "Stanley & Iris" are worth catching. Two of his more interesting earlier roles are in "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight" and "1900".

Rupert Pupkin from "King of Comedy"

His mannerisms when he did his stand-up act were brilliant. A great actor making himself look like he's a bad actor - very tough to pull off.

He was at his best as the young Vito Corleone. I also liked em in Copland as the internal affairs cop.
