I live in Australia and when I was doing my grocery shop a couple of days ago I noticed that there were already hot cross buns and easter eggs for sale! Has anybody else noticed this and what are your thoughts? I think what a joke, I'm still trying to get over Christmas!

Sunkist - How does you asking me if toothpaste cures zits apply to this question? Stop smoking crack girl! But anyway toothpaste will help dry up a zit but I never stated in previous answers that it will cure acne. What a spin out gone from talking about easter eggs to zits!

Here in Texas I saw Valentines Day things for sale already but nothing for Easter yet, I guess they are into making as much money they can before the holiday even gets here.

And Cadbury Creme Eggs! I don't mind - I want them to be in the shops for as long as possible!
Buck tradition and enjoy the hot cross buns despite them being out of season - they are so yum microwaved for a few seconds with big gobs of butter.
Give in!

Indeed, the aftermath of Christmas: the holiday with the most lies, next to Easter(sacrifice: slaughter kills), and Valentines Day(law law loves in Mt 22:36-40 fail, hurt, hate, and even kill, since law is notably a ministration of condemnation and death)... the aftermath of Xmas is awful lawful for many deceived by many(shall come... to DECEIVE: Mt 24: Mk 13);

All such crying lying dying should be canceled(abolished, done away, taken away), as Valentines Day got canceled in 1969: notably for being an orgy of commercialism. BTW, I notice Astralia is among the six nations who still celebrate a holiday which got canceled almost 30 yrs ago, and Australia also got suckered (Bush wacked), along with UK, into the Iraq war.

It's all about Law vs Grace, and the end is already written:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

WHAT?!? The buns would be really incredibly stale by Easter!

I can only cope with one holiday at a time. Doing it too far ahead of time takes the fun out of it!

Same in a lot of places! It's how stores wokr. As soon as one holiday is over, they get ready for the next one almost immediately (first they have to have all those sales, of course). That's probably b/c they have a seasonal section that needs to have SOMETHING there.
