One of my best friends is annoying me to death. She is constantly burping and farting loudly in front of me and my husband. I realize everyone does this but there are ways to hide it. It is one of my pet peeves. I make comment like "Gross! and Disgusting!!" but she just laughs it off. She even does it when we are out in public and at restaurants. It is just not lady like I mean I not a prude or anything but I know how my husbands feels about girls who do this as well and he's not impressed by her rude sounds either. What do I do? Just leave it alone? Am I over reacting?

You should tell her you don't appreciate it. If she's got any sense at all, she'll stop. Others probably don't like it either. You really need to tell her before she finds out from someone who isn't her friend about how rude she's being. Maybe you can ask your husband to help to come up with a way to approach her about the subject.
I can understand why you wouldn't like it, I wouldn't either! It's very impolite.

She is showing total disrespect for you and everyone around you. You do not have to be polite any longer. Give her a choice. Either she quit doing that in your presence or here company is no longer welcome. Forget the "lady like" part. It's rude behavior man or woman. You have no need to lower yourself to accept her disgusting behavior.
