I see that they sell a Series* 3 unit to," enjoy HD recordings" as they say. Why couldnt u do this with the Series 2?.

Tivo series 2 tuner doesn't understand HD, so it can't encode/decode it for recording or playing HD programming

Nope, you need a Series 3.

you may view your shows in HD yet can in basic terms checklist in HD with the sequence 3. it may in basic terms be hooked to a minimum of one television set (yet I save bugging my husband approximately that difficulty).
