Our Website would be one dedicated to movie news and reviews and for it to work, we would need to interview the cast of the movies themselves whether at a Press Junket or for a private interview. I have no idea how to approach this as there is no website or anything telling you how to do it. If anyone out there knows, it'd be appreciated.

You may want to start smaller, unless you have well known writers working for your site. AP is the only one that can get that close without connections.

Hi i dont mean to be rude but i think it would be a waste of your time money and effort. There are already many many established websites that already do this job for example http://www.lovefilm.com, http://www.cineworld.com, even yahoo and similar major search engines run their own review pages - did you not do market research before deciding on your idea?

You wouldn't be able to get on the list for a Press Junket unless you are really established - it's not as easy as it looks in Notting Hill!!!!!

If you are desperate to do it apply to your local cinema and see if they will allow you to attend the opening showing or the second day of showings of new films - talk to local papers about how they go about doing it. The Student Newspaper at De Montfort did their's in this way.

Go to Whorepresents.com, this will give you a list of who the celebrities agent/publicist/manager is. A publicist is what you want. If it's project related you might want to try and contact studio publicists. They are the ones that set up the press junkets.

Dunno really.... but try to ask 'open' questions, ones that require a viewpoint as opposed to closed questions that simply generate a yes or no.
