I have ten years worth of holiday barbies sitting on my shelf, from 1989 to 1999, never been opened. Does anyone know where I can contact someone to find out how much they are worth and where I can sell them? I'm not a fan of ebay (the crowd gasps), so I'd rather not go through that route. Thanks for the help.

Your question says "contact someone...how much worth..where to sell...Ok. Look up your local Historical Society or antique dealer who may guide you to a toy appraiser...Historical society may have an appraiser come in once a month or more often and do appraises by appointment...
Antique dealers may do appraisals but I would be particular and get a toy appraisal. I would get at least two appraisals to make sure the price was agreeable and not ridiculous..You have Barbies not just boxed Barbies; Holiday Barbies from ten years; never opened. Lots of pros for a good price. Barbie just celebrated ??? years something....
Apparently you may have not heard of the kids whose mother died and never left them in the basement...I think there was three kids and she always bought one extra toy or six at a clip ??? Well half the toys were played with the other half stashed and upon her death they realized she left something besides memories and had them appraised-still in box lots and lotsa bucks...Thank You Mommmy! You might want to try Amazon.Com. They have Barbies on there to help you figure out what to sell them for and I belive that you can sell them there as well. On the main page there is a icon up top that says sell you stuff. Good luck.
