Every night i bang on my pet rats cage with a stick ( to grab his attention) and play to him Micheal Jacksons "Ben" from my CD Player to cheer him up.
He just does'nt listen and goes back in his box.
Do you have any ideas or would it be best if he met Mr Shovel...??

get him a MRS rat, that will put a smile on his face and tire him out at the same time

Aw, try putting a thin cover over the cage when you get in there. It quietens pets like that and then they finally sleep.

Good luck!
