You don't have to pay 150.00/night!!! We go to Vegas every year...just went in October. Cost us under 300.00 for 7 nights at the Circus Circus, which is right on the strip. We get regular e-mails from the big resorts, offering special deals....Recent one from the MGM, which would cost between 500.00 and 600.00 for the week. Keep in mind that the regular price for these rooms, is probably 250.00 per night. The owners want you to stay in their hotel, assuming that if "you stay there, you will gamble there", and that's how they make their money.

Expect to pay $150 or more for regular hotel.
If you pay under $100, it's a great deal.
Watch out for under $50 deals... the hotel may be located in not so good area.
