Homosexuality use to be illegal in South Africa, but come Saint Mandela's ANC government and the lid was off. Homosexuals were given recognition within the new constitution - something which even the US and the UK have not done.

Applaudable? Have a look at what happens when the strong arm of the law is made powerless.

I would have thought being an atheist, you might have been a logical and knowledgable person, however it is evident that you are not!
Homosexuals should be given recognition and the same rights as heterosexuals and bisexuals. Someones sexuality doesn't automatically make them a bad person. Theres good and bad within every culture, background, religion, sexuality, etc.
So, do us all a favour and don't stereotype. Become more informed about the world and then please come back with a valid question, backed up with valid evidence

Gays are human too! If people keep using their Hetrophile Femalephobe, Homophobe religions to justify disrespect to other human beings, they will become worthy of disrespect themselves.
Religious "control concepts" do not justify inhumanity.

It is about time we stopped taking our moral cues from people who knew nothing about science, and little about philosophy.

Religion, morality, democracy, law. It is all there to provoke you into thanking it for taking your individual responsibilities away and with that, your freedom to think objectively.

Oh, and, by the way, mate. I remember when South Africa had a very strong arm of the law. Do you want that back?

It was not a mistake at all. Something like that is never a mistake. Also, the UK are recognizing homosexuals. Unlike in the US, homosexual couples can marry and have wonderful lives in the UK and all of Europe.

LOL
Your 1999 example predates the law you refer to and may be seen as nothing more than an attack. It has no bearing on the current situation.

LITTLE BOYS? 19 years old is hardly LITTLE. The 19 year old was making a mint off of him and was probably straight. Hustlers usually are, most are straight, targetting gays to make money.

The guy was never ARRESTED because they couldn't find a crime had been committed!

Get a life!

I think it's a major mistake some people are even born. If only those god damn Heterosexuals stop breeding once and for all, we won't have to face this problem !!

So what? Gays commit crimes. So do straight people. Perhaps we should make being straight illegal too.
