Every good thing has an end... One should not forget the fact that he has been delivering for the Indian team for the past 17 years and that is a lot of years of hard work... Also it is not that he is not playing well. he has not been able to convert the starts into big scores... It is time that we stop criticising tendulkar... what has the rest 10 people done???
Sachin has given more than 100% for cricket and should not be blamed.. It is time we give him a very warm send off after the World cup..

Its becoz of people like you. Just leave him alone. He is playing very well. Imagine even in the last series against S.Africa, he was the second highest scorer of runs for an Indian in the whole series and he averaged over 36. His scores were, 45, 18, 63, 0, 64, 14. These are excellent scores for anyone. Its just that we all expect him to score a contury every time he comes to bat.
He will score 50 centuries in both forms of the game before he retires.

I can think of a few reasons but actual reasons are known only by him and god above :

1: He is past his prime and as he has himself claimed : he is not as young as he was in the 1990 's .
2: He has become too much careful .
3: He is probably still using a Heavy bat whereas he should be going for a lighter bat .
4: He feels too much responsibility due to seniority ; thus curbing his natural play .

Consider the following first :
1 After 30 years, the flexibility of the body begins to slow down.
2 If a normal person has an injury, then even after recovery it continues to give problems.

Sachin is over 30 and has had a shoulder and elbow opreation. It would be unfair of us to expect him to continue playing like he used to do in his earlier days.

He is still an international level player. But we should accept that the high point of his batting has been achieved.

After the injuries he is lacking in confidence.
If Lara at 39,is still able to show glimpses of his brilliance,Sachin too can do it.He must discover the right mindset to make the most, of the conditions.

Try to understand please.
India is not playing against Bangladesh or Kenya or zim or UAE or Scotland or Neitherland.
Sachin only scored well against poor team except in few occasions.
